My name is Chhetri Aishwarya Thapa (Aishu), and I am an aspiring video journalist who is a current student of Master’s degree in Journalism at HKU (2023-2024). My email is [email protected].
My passion for video editing and storytelling has led me to pursue a career in journalism. I believe that as a journalist, I can bring a different perspective to the ideas that shape our society. With my diverse background growing up in both Nepal and Hong Kong, I am confident that I can bring a unique voice to the table. In addition to my interest in journalism, I am also passionate about sustainable living and international conflicts. Through extensive research and analysis, I have gained valuable insights into topics such as renewable energy, building sustainable companies, zero-waste living, rooftop gardening, hydroponic gardening, the Ukraine war, technology conflicts, tax havens, and China’s diplomatic relations with other countries.
In my free time like going hiking, reading books and going to the shopping malls and finding good foods around Hong Kong. Besides food tasting also enjoy Thai boxing and maybe even have a Muay Thai fight one day.
