Su Yuanxuan, whose English name is Selina, was born in Shanghai in 2001. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature at Jinan University in Guangzhou from 2019 to 2023. During her time there, she received an outstanding freshman scholarship and developed critical thinking skills that enabled her to analyze social phenomena.
Selina also gained diverse experience in the media field. A notable highlight includes a three-month internship as a journalist at the Shanghai Security News, where she gained valuable insights into financial news interviewing and writing. With three traditional journalism internships, she has published more than 50 stories and has developed skills in news writing in both English and Chinese, as well as filming and editing. With three new media internships, she also developed skills in image editing, AI image creation, and web designing.
Outside her professional pursuits, Selina enjoys unwinding by reading novels and watching movies. She also finds joy in the companionship of pets, having owned a cat for over ten years. Spending time with these delightful creatures gives Selina a profound sense of the meaning of life.
