Hu Leyi is a HKU JMSC student with a bachelor’s degree in Translation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Hu specialized in language, culture, and localization. She has gained valuable work experience at Shenzhen Daily, Baidu Translation, Hearst Media, and Zara.

During her master’s program, Hu contributed as a student assistant at HKU’s Annie Lab, focusing on news fact-checking. Her academic background and professional journey reflect her dedication to language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding, and the pursuit of accurate and reliable information in the media industry. With a strong foundation in translation and journalism, Hu is poised to make meaningful contributions to the dynamic world of communication.
