My name is Lin Xinyu, which comes from a poem written by Song Dynasty philosopher Lu Jiuyuan, 吾心便是宇宙，宇宙便是吾心(My heart is the universe, and the universe is my heart).
My parents wanted me to be a tolerant and gentle person, so they named me so.I come from Wenzhou, a small coastal city in southeast China, also known as the state of warmth. Because it is near the sea, Wenzhou has unique opportunities for foreign exchanges, which is one of the important reasons why Wenzhou businessmen are named Oriental Jews.
Growing up in a free and open environment, my parents encouraged me to care about the people and things around me and support me in pursuing my dreams.
