Wu Wanqing

Wu Wanqing is a student currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Journalism at Hong Kong University. Before this, she completed her undergraduate studies in Chinese Literature, specializing in folklore literature, at Peking University.

Wanqing has a strong passion for exploring and understanding the intricate world of folklore. She has gained valuable experience in this field through her involvement in folklore research and fieldwork. Under the guidance of Prof. Chen Yongchao, she conducted academic research on the folklore reconstruction of the Hanfu movement and its mutation on the Internet. Wanqing’s work involved analyzing behavior patterns, value systems, and different demands of various groups, ultimately providing meaningful insights into this cultural phenomenon.

In addition to her folklore background, Wanqing has also developed skills in journalism and creative content writing.
