In 2019, our family officially adopted “Mender” as a puppy.
Our family had always wanted to have a dog, but we could not due to my parents’ heavy work schedule. In 2019, when my parents’ work structure changed, we decided to adopt a puppy.
I found a litter of newborn puppies online, and my mother and I went to choose one that day. My mother liked Mender right away because he was special. All the other puppies were very lively and rushed towards people, but only Mender was scared and hid in the corner. And his legs were the shortest among all the puppies, so he looked the cutest. He immediately attracted the attention of my mother and me. On the day we brought him home, he was so scared that he kept shaking.
Now, he has become a naughty dog. Although his hair has become lighter and his energy has decreased with age, the cunning in his eyes has increased. He will always be the cutest dog in our hearts.
