Luxiao went to the United States last year, Fall 2023. She was usually in Boston for school, but she traveled to different places during the holidays. This storymap is about her journey in the US.
The first place she went to was Lexington, where her American parents currently live. This is a small town with not many tourists. She and her American family spent a weekend together just like 5 years ago when Luxiao was an exchange student.
Luxiao always wanted to go to Universal Studios Orlando again. As the largest Universal Studio in the World, Universal Orlando has way too many fun attractions than the other ones. She spent a few days as a Single Rider, but she felt that it was not as fun as it was five years ago, and maybe it’s because she grew up. She also went to 4 Disney parks in one day during this time.
From October 26th to 30th, Luxiao went to LA to visit her friends. It’s been 10 years since the last time in LA. She went to
Universal again with her friends and they went to Santa Monica, the sunset there was gorgeous. It’s her favorite color orange.
During Thanksgiving, Luxiao went to Hawaii alone after 12 hours flight. Honolulu is where she wanted to visit again. Life in Hawaii was relaxing and wonderful.
Last but not least, she visited Lexington one more time and said goodbye to her American Mum, Dad, and Sister. They knew they would see each other again.
