Journey to Yunnan

Winnie Wong had been working as a reporter in Hong Kong Economic Times for 3 years. She had produced hundreds of news reports and conducted in-depth exclusive interviews with important figures, including the high-ranking officials of the HKSAR government, presidents of universities, and renowned individuals like the Forbes Midas Lister. She also managed App’s push notifications to raise daily active users and caught up with the hot talk on the internet to produce instant news.

She was a local graduate of the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History, and minoring in Politics and Public Administration, which equipped herself with fair writing skills and preliminary knowledge of public affairs. During her undergraduate, she joined HK01 Company Limited as a student intern and was invited to be a part-time reporter after summer internship. The ever-changing working environment had equipped herself with the adaptability to learn fast and enchanted her to throw herself into journalism.

She is currently pursuing master’s degree in journalism and exploring the knowledge in visual and audio, as well as the latest AI development. She is always ready for new challenges and willing to learn in order to create her own unique place in the journalism industry.
