The new level of MAW has applied to FDH contracts signed on or after 28 September. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to Labor Department\u2019s official website, the government has permitted FDHs\u2019 importation since the 1970&#8217;s to fill local full-time live-in domestic helpers\u2019 shortages. Employers with a monthly salary of not less than HK$15,000 per month are eligible to hire FDHs.
