Under the cleat blue sky, glowing sunlight illuminated a vibrant cityscape of the Central West area of Hong Kong, a boat glides through a serene body of water with a distant mountain at the back.

As I was walking down Des Voeux Road West, I saw this older apartment building with numerous air conditioning units, it stands beside a modern glass structure and a building wrapped in green scaffolding. The sunlight casts shadows, highlighting the contrast between old and new vibes in Hong Kong.

While I was waiting for the signal lights, a taxi, and a truck navigated the road under the clear sky. The overpass casts a shadow on the street, and traffic lights control the flow of vehicles.

The sun seems to give all life’s vitality, even glittering a small potted fern placed on the windowsill of my apartment. The plant casts a delicate shadow on the wall, highlighting its intricate leaf patterns backing in sunlight.

I went to this cafe next to the harborside. They served the best beef Omurice with curry sauce, a perfect match for the iced Hojicha.
