Xinyue Tang is a postgraduate student at the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Journalism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
Her MBTI is ENFJ, and she’s incredibly optimistic and talkative. She hopes to make more friends among her MJ classmates, but she worries she won’t have the chance to get to know everyone before graduation, especially since there are 80 of them and they take different classes. Before coming to HKU, she took a two-year gap during which she gained diverse work experience. Xinyue worked for four months at a 4A advertising agency in Guangzhou, spent another four months teaching IELTS at New Oriental, and interned for four months at the official media outlet, New Weekly. Most recently, she completed a three-month internship at Voltage X, a Hong Kong advertising company, where she created social media content for shopping mall clients.
She is full of anticipation for the new semester and wishes to find what she truly wants to do and what suits her best.
