Jinglin Yuan is a Korean Chinese master student in journalism at the University of Hong Kong, having recently completed an internship at Phoenix Show under Phoenix TV. Previously a business management undergraduate in Hong Kong, she initially pursued commerce to elevate her family’s entrepreneurial ventures before pivoting to journalism to explore storytelling’s power in bridging cultures and ideas.
A lifelong enthusiast of diverse disciplines, Jinglin has trained in guzheng, horseback riding, guitar, and ballroom dance, but her enduring passions are competitive Latin dance and golf. She has earned accolades in national and international Latin dance competitions, balancing athletic rigor with creative expression.
Deeply spiritual, Jinglin is a practicing Taoist and Buddhist who believes in life’s cyclical nature and the universal pursuit of enlightenment. Her worldview blends intellectual curiosity with a quest for harmony, guiding her approach to journalism, art, and personal growth.
