Hi, my name is Jiajian Xu and I also go by Jia. I’m a JMSC student at HKU. I pursued a Master’s in Journalism (MJ) to gain hands-on training in writing, reporting, producing, and broadcasting. Over the past year, I’ve honed my skills in TV production and short video creation, particularly in biotechnology and electric vehicle marketing. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in scriptwriting, video editing, and content creation, while also teaching me the value of teamwork and independent project management.
Now, I’m excited to bring these skills into a news environment and continue growing as a media professional. I’m passionate about crafting compelling stories, sharpening my journalistic instincts, and participating in live news reporting. My goal is to become a versatile media professional, adept in both reporting and production, and ready to thrive in any media landscape.
