Wong Tai Sin Temple, located in the Wong Tai Sin district of Kowloon, Hong Kong, is a renowned temple known for its unique blend of Taoist, Buddhist, and Confucian traditions. Established by the Sik Sik Yuen charitable organisation, this iconic temple honors Wong Chuping, a famous Taoist deity from the Eastern Jin period, while also venerating other prominent figures such as Confucius and Guanyin. On February 14, 2025, I captured the vibrant rituals and practices at the temple, where visitors gather to seek blessings, guidance, and protection. These images reflect the cultural significance and spiritual atmosphere of this revered Hong Kong landmark, which is also a Grade I historic building.
