Chen Xuanyi (Cecilia)
Chen Xuanyi (English name Cecilia), was born on July 31, 2002, in Zhejiang, China, where I spent my formative years. Growing up in the vibrant culture of Zhejiang, I developed a keen interest in communication, storytelling, and the ever-evolving media landscape. My passion for these subjects led her to pursue a degree in Journalism at Zhejiang University, one of China’s most prestigious institutions, from 2020 to 2024.
During my time at Zhejiang University, I honed my skills in writing, media analysis, and digital communication. In 2024, I took an exciting step forward in my academic journey by continuing my studies at The University of Hong Kong, one of Asia’s leading universities, where I pursued further specialization in journalism and media studies. My time in Hong Kong allowed me to deepen my understanding of international media, communication theory, and digital trends.
Outside of my academic pursuits, Cecilia is a dedicated fan of K-pop, a passion that connects me to a global community of music lovers. My enthusiasm for K-pop not only reflects my appreciation for pop culture but also fuels my interest in the intersection of music, media, and youth culture in modern society.
