I am very glad to be a MJ student in 2024 in HKU. My name is Yisong Zhang. I finished my undergraduate and get bachelor of arts from University of Sussex in the UK, and felt enjoyable my major – Media and Communication.
The most memorable thing in past two years except I was graduated is gained the internship experience in Phoenix TV CNE in London for four months. To be honest, I have always been passionate about journalism and hope to work in journalism in future. I believe journalism can touch all aspects of society, and learning journalism is a good way to understand how society works. Journalism could help me gain a deeper understanding of the deficiencies in society and the factors that affect social progress, such as poverty, hunger, war and other social contradictions. I hope to be a professional journalist and support our society and world to be harmony and peace. This is one reason motivated me to join the field of journalism.
