The English Premier League is the most watched professional football league in the world. Each Premier League season runs from August to May and in Hong Kong, the broadcast rights are held by PCCW NowTV. Located deep in Chai Wan’s industrial area, there is a frenzy inside the broadcast studios whenever there is a live match being broadcast, a stark contrast to the quiet surroundings in the weekends.
Each weekend round consists of ten matches, and NowTV’s main sports channel (channel 621) will select 4-5 matches with on-screen presentation. This gallery is a behind-the-scenes look at the live broadcast of the match contested between Leicester City and Arsenal on 15 February 2025.
