I am Chen Xuhan, 24 years old, from Yichang, Hubei Province. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Journalism at the University of Hong Kong. I completed my undergraduate studies in Journalism at Jilin University, where I gained a solid understanding of theoretical concepts in communication, journalism, and advertising while also developing practical skills in news photography and commentary writing. Studying at HKU has broadened my perspective and brought me closer to my dream of working in the media industry.
My previous internship and work experience were with ByteDance. During my internship, I focused on content operations and assisted in launching Douyin Baike. I have one year of formal work experience primarily in marketing operations for Douyin group buying.This experience deepened my understanding of social media operations.
In my daily life, I enjoyed watching movies, reading and city walking. I believe these activities enrich my life and help me become more thoughtful and courageous. In the future, I hope to find a meaningful job related to media, settle in a city I love, and adopt a cat.
