“Dried Seafood Street” in Hong Kong
Sai Ying Pun/ Sheung Wan is well-known for the “Dried Seafood Street” or “Tonic Food Street”. Many shops there selling dried seafood, such as shark fin, salted fish, sausage, scallops. “Dried Seafood Street” has low traffic now, and some of the shops probably will close down due to the slump in prodits. However these bazaar food are rich in potein, and good for our health. More importantly, it was a flourished industry and cutural heritage for Hong Kong.
