Han Jingru, born in Taiyuan city, Shanxi Province, is currently a full time post-graduate student majoring in journalism at the University of Hong Kong.
In Han’s studies in International Journalism and Communication at the Communication University of China from 2020 to 2024, courses such as Introduction to New Media and Communication Research Methodologies have helped her build a systematic knowledge framework in digital media and inspired her to conduct practices in media industry.
She has been covering domestic and international financial news as a video news intern for Xinhua Net’s financial section.
Before joining the MJ programme, she also worked as an editorial assistant for magazine Kinfolk and Wallpaper.
