My name is PAN Jiarui and you can call me Irene. I am now a student from JMSC. I’m currently studying my master’s degree at the Universitiy of Hong Kong. I completed my undergraduate degree at Shanghai University, majoring in Journalism. My undergraduate program seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills. My six internships have provided invaluable insights into the integration of new media and traditional journalism.The working experience not only honed my journalism skills but also fostered strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, essential for thriving in a cross-functional environment with editors, journalists, and web teams. During this winter vacation, I undertook an internship at BurdaLuxury in Hong Kong. This opportunity significantly broadened my experience within the fashion magazine sector, enhanced my proficiency in English writing and website editing, and deepened my understanding of collaborative workflows across various teams. Additionally, this experience provided me with valuable insights into the media industry as a whole.
