Hello journalists, nice to meet you all, this is Kari from Hong Kong. I studied Global China Studies and minored in psychological and behavioural science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during my undergraduate. I was one of the members of the Editorial Board, HKUST Students’ Union, and published different stories and books for students and faculties. After graduating, I joined JMSC (2023-2024), but I gapped 1 year for a full-time internship opportunity in L’Oreal as a brand communication intern, and now I’m finally back to campus and continuing my journey in JMSC!
Apart from academic and working experience, I also devoted lots of time to voluntary experience! Currently I’m a Youth Ambassador of UNESCO Hong Kong, help promote ESG values to the public, especially secondary school students. Also, I joined a one-year program of Hong Kong Family Welfare Society to take care of the children who were going through a hard time. During my spare time, I love watching movies and doing some lyrics-writing.
