Hi, this is Sandy Dong, from HKU Journalism.
I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Advertising. The four years of study in advertising sparked my strong interest in media and communications, leading me to undertake multiple internships in the media industry, including in advertising, public relations, marketing, and technological companies.
I was born in Shenzhen, but my hometown is Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, a distant northern city in China. Growing up amidst the two different cultures of the North and the South has kept me perpetually curious about the world and has also helped me easily adapt to new environments.
With a passion for diverse cultures, people, and the stories behind them, I chose to study journalism at HKU, because I believe that there are many people and stories worth discovering and exploring in Hong Kong and hope to learn more journalism skills at JMSC!
