Graduating Chinese college students entering grim market
In recent years, Chinese college graduates are experiencing a tough employment winter.According to China’s Ministry of National Education, the number of fresh graduates will top 12.22 million in 2025, an all-time high and an increase of 5.92 million from 2010, and this number is expected to continue to grow.
There is a large number of college students graduating every year, however, there is no significant increase in the number of jobs available, leading to more intense competition in various industries, and many college students are unable to find a job, plunging them into an ‘Employment Winter’.
The tough employment situation has also made more and more college students turn to participate in the National Post-graduate Entrance Examination and National Civil Servant Exam.
Especially in the pursuit of stability, the National Civil Servant Exam is becoming more and more popular among students, and the number of people taking this examination will soon be the same as the number of people taking the National Post-graduate Entrance Examination.
