Hong Kong — Samsung unveiled its groundbreaking Galaxy S25 Ultra at a high-profile launch event hosted at Meta’s Hong Kong offices, showcasing a fusion of generative AI innovation and pro-grade hardware. The device, also known as “the smartphone of tomorrow,” or “the first ever AI phone: leverages Meta’s AI infrastructure to deliver transformative features for creators, cross-boarder businesses, and professionals.

I was invited as a KOL and brand representative at the event, and was able to experience and learn the suite of tools on the new phone co-developed with Meta, including real-time call transcription, multilingual voice translation, and AI-generated meeting summaries, as well as its “Now Brief” feature curates personalized daily updates (weather, health insights, reminders) powered by on-device machine learning.

Boasting a 5-lens rear system, the S25 Ultra features a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with macro capabilities, and a dual-telephoto setup enabling 10x optical zoom (100x AI-enhanced Space Zoom). Low-light performance gets a boost with Nightography 2.0, while filmmakers gain Log video recording and Audio Eraser for studio-grade editing.
