The commerce and trade sector experienced one of the most substantial increases, with approvals rising from 4,949 in 2022 to 6,860 in 2023, indicating Hong Kong&#8217;s ongoing commitment to strengthening its position as an international business hub.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the innovation and technology industry saw notable growth, with approvals climbing from 4,852 in 2022 to 5,882 in 2023, aligning with the city&#8217;s emphasis on digital transformation and emerging technologies.
