Located in Hong Kong Island’s north-western area, Kennedy Town was considered as a remote place to live at first. But in 1990s, when the shortage of land became a problem in Hong Kong, the government started land reclaimation near Belcher Bay, a place located in Kennedy Town. Since then, Kennedy Town welcomed its spring — senior residencials raised from the ground, stores sprung up like mushrooms.
