The amount of mainland tourists rebounded in 2025, with the total number of visitors during the not-long-before Labour Day \u201cgolden week\u201d holiday reaching about 1.1 million, but the figure was still a far cry from the levels before the COVID-19 pandemic and 2019 anti-government protests.
