Man Mo Temple was built in 1847, it enshrines and worships the God of Literature and the God of War which is popular with students and their parents seeking progress and good grades in studies.
Except only praying, many people choose to spend lots of money on derivatives, such as buying expensive incense, donating incense money to the temple, and enshrining and worshiping the tablets. People also can buy a blessing card, write down their wishes and hang it with a red wire. Most of their wishes are simple, such as wishing good health, good school grades, having a good job, etc.
