the Forbidden City: the witness of Chinese history

If you want to dig out some in-depth stories of  Chinese history, you should go to the Forbidden City, Beijing. Inside the Forbidden City, you can see the largest Chinese traditional palace complex that has been built since Ming Dynasty. Hundreds of years ago, the Forbidden City was the place where Chinese empires’ families lived, a forbidden area for ordinary people, so it is called the Forbidden City. It witnessed the estabilishment and collapse of the last Chinese feudal dynasty—Qing Dynasty, and even the whole modern Chinese history. Nowadays, the Forbidden City has became a worldwide well-known historical museum where every people from different countries could enter and visit.
